Grumpy mama

I still have a little over 2 weeks till my due date and my mom and I are constantly asked, "Baby yet?!"

Things are progressing slowly, but thanks for the reminder that my baby is still not in my arms. Once this baby is here, trust me.... the whole world will know!

Graduate

You'd think with school being out (WOO HOO!) I'd be better about blogging..... mmm..... nope. Nesting mode is in FULL swing! All I want to do is clean, organize, and get ready for baby girl.

Well..... I am finally a nursing school graduate! It feels amazing to finally say I'M DONE. Nursing school was the scariest, craziest, and most interesting 2 years of my life. I spent the first 2 years of married life in nursing school. It still hasn't sunk in that I'm done and ALMOST an RN!

34 weeks preggo at graduation.... now 35 1/2 weeks!

I am so grateful for all the support I've had during nursing school. I could not have done it alone. I can say all the blood, sweat, and tears were worth it (literally). I'm hoping to take my state boards soon..... hopefully before this little girl comes out to play. So many things happening lately! My baby shower was this past weekend (pics to come soon!). Thanks to all who made graduation and the baby shower a special day! Miss Ruby and I feel very loved. Can't wait for baby girl to be here soon!!

Lately..

These last few weeks have been sooo busy and things are only getting busier! Preceptorship in L&D is AMAZING. I have an awesome preceptor and have had the best experience! More than anything, it only gets me more excited for the arrival of our baby girl! I can't wait! Blaine finished up his summer classes and is now working on Ruby's room.... which is coming along slowly :-) I am graduating Friday (holy crap! I am sooo glad to be done!) and hope to take my NCLEX in the next few weeks.... as long as Ruby doesn't come too early.

Baby girl has dropped and I can finally breathe, but now she is right against my bladder. Joy. She loves to poke her feet against my belly and Blaine likes to poke her feet :-) 47 days till my due date, but I'm hoping she'll make her appearance before then.... but not too soon. Only time will tell!

Almost....

I did it! I passed block 4!!!! I still can't believe it, somebody pinch me.... now it's off to play with mommies and babies in OB land for 3 weeks and then.... GRADUATION!!!! I've waited for this for so long and it's almost here! All my hard work is paying off. It sure has been a bumpy and very difficult road, but I FINALLY made it! I must say, having two brains may have worked to my advantage ;-) I can't wait to graduate, take my boards, and then have my sweet girl here!!

Beautiful girl

Last week we got to see our sweet girl in 3D. She is so cute!! We're so in love with her, and she still has a little while before she's here. ... dang it! 

 Her nose looks big. I promise it's not. She has Blaine's nose.

Seriously, time really needs to go by faster because I want my baby girl here! She loves to kick and punch me. I don't mind. I love those little kicks. However, when she kicks me in the ribs.... can you say OUCH?

One more week till I take my LAST FINAL EVER! Holy cow! As long as I pass, I get to do my preceptorship in L&D!! I am so excited (just not for the night shift part). I cannot wait to be DONE with nursing school!!

2!

Yesterday was our 2 year anniversary!!  Where has the time gone?! Can someone find it for me because that went by soooo fast! So much has happened in the last 2 years of our lives and there's no one else I would have rather gone through it with. I feel so lucky to be married to my best friend! I love you Blaine!

 Because our lives are so crazy at the moment (thank you school), we didn't do anything too exciting for our anniversary. We went swimming and went out to eat, which was perfect. I'm so excited for more anniversaries to come, watching our family grow, and going through life with my best friend!

So little time!

I've been in nesting mode since before the end of block 3. All I want to do is get everything ready and cleaned! But unfortunately, I only have 5 more days until block 4 starts (boo) = no time for anything. Sigh.... It's been so nice to actually get things done!

Like get the crib set up and throw the dog in!

I guess all things come to an end eventually, but I'm going to go and enjoy my last 5 days before they're gone. I'm going to be a hermit this summer due to my crazy school schedule, sorry in advance. Hopefully you'll see more of me after August 5th!!
