I'm horrible at updates according to Mom and Dad Baker :-] I'm happy to say only 12 days left till I'm married to my best friend in the whole world! I can hardly wait! It seemed sooo far away at first, and now it feels like it's coming so fast. Crazy how that works.
Well.... these last few weeks have been chaotic. Between Blaine's schooling, picking up a second job, house hunting, and getting everything ready for the weekend, I think everyone is stressed and running on fumes.... or maybe it's just Blaine and I.... and my Mom. Wedding planning is DEFINITELY NOT what I thought it would be. I hate to say it, but I am finding out who my true friends are and those that really do care. We've had some unfortunate mishaps between family and friends, but you know what, I'm glad they happend. I feel very blessed, fortunate, and at peace. I am so grateful to those who have made these last few weeks fun and calming for us.
I am very much looking forward to FINALLY going through the temple. I've always been sooo excited to go through. Now it's finally my turn! :-] I really really wish my family could go with me, but I know if they could, they would be there :-] I can't express enough to them how much I love them and how special they are to me. I know it hasn't been easy for my family these last few weeks, but they have been so strong and supportive. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! :-]
My biggest support has been Blaine :-] (Man, this could get long, but I'll save you the grief :-]) I am so grateful for EVERYTHING he does for me! I truly feel like the luckiest girl ever. He knows how to make me smile and laugh when things get sticky (besides his poop jokes). I hope that I can always treat him as good as he treats me. I can't wait to spend forever with my best friend! :-] I love you Blaine! :-]

Hey girl. So sorry I couldn't make your shower last weekend. I've had some family drama of my own. We will definitely see you at your reception. The Temple is an amazing place and it is so special when you and Blaine go through together. I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDeletePlanning a wedding is def stressful! Billy won't admit it but I'm pretty sure I was beast for the months leading up to our wedding. (actually he prob will admit it) Sorry I missed your shower! Your gift is at our house, I was going to send it with Billy to work to give to Blaine but he says we will give it to you guys at your wedding!

ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see you two on Saturday! It is so gret that youa re so excited. I think that they are better at focusing on the temple now than they were when I grew up. It seems like it was all about the temple marriage (the day), which is great, but not about the prep that goes along with it.
